Apply
Before you begin
Here is everything the application asks for, so you can gather it first. You do not need it all today. Your answers save as you go, and you can come back to finish.
Check you can apply

- You live in Abia, Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Katsina, Niger, Plateau or Taraba

- A photo of your ID: NIN slip, voter card, driver’s licence or passport. A photo taken on your phone is fine
Things to record on your phone
You will upload these near the end.
- A pitch video of about one minute. Tell us who you are and explain your solution in your own words
- A photo, drawing or PDF of your prototype or idea
- If you have it: proof that people have tried your solution, such as photos or written feedback
Details about you
- Your email address
- Three phone numbers of 11 digits each: yours, your WhatsApp, and someone else we can try, such as a parent, spouse or guardian
- Your address, state and Local Government Area
- Your date of birth, your education, and what you do now
- Whether you have a disability, and any help you would need to take part
Questions to think about
Reviewers read these answers closely. You can draft them on paper or in your notes first.
- What problem you are solving, and who it affects
- How your solution works, step by step
- What is new about it, and how it differs from at least two existing solutions in Nigeria
- Why you care about it, with an example from your own life
- Who benefits, and how
- What is holding you back, and what you hope to get from the programme
About your business, if you have one
Rough figures are fine.
- Whether you have received funding, who from, and roughly how much
- Your revenue in the last 6 months
- How many people aged 18 to 35 work with you
- Your CAC number and certificate, if the business is registered
You do not need a registered business to apply. Most applicants do not have one.
